Selected Topics in Applied Physics

“Selected Topics in Applied Physics” (STAP) will highlight a specific topic in applied physics, which will be selected by the JJAP editorial board. Original contributions will be solicited for each selected field. This section will feature rapidly developing current trends in the selected research area or, from a specific viewpoint, topics of interest in applied physics and its related interdisciplines. An announcement of the selected areas planned for future issues will be published in the Japanese Journal of Applied Physics.
